A record-breaking 370 athletes from across Canada and the globe will compete at the 2025 Canadian Junior Open presented by Forthlane Partners, beginning this Saturday, December 13, and running through Tuesday, December 16. Athletes across the Under-11, Under-13, Under-15, Under-17, and Under-19 divisions will take to the courts at the Club at White Oaks Resort and Spa and Ridley College’s Jack Aylott Squash Centre. Some of Canada’s brightest junior stars will be on court this weekend, including top seeds Wing Kai Gladys Ho (BC) and Youssef Taha (AB) in the Under-19 draws, and Joelle Kim (BC) and Kent Rawlins (ON) in the Under-17 draws. Adding to the excitement, a Men’s and Women’s NextGen PSA Satellite draw will be played, exposing junior athletes to professional-level competition. The Canadian Junior Open presented by Forthlane Partners is the first stop on a busy tour for the top junior squash players in Canada and the world. Shortly after the final ball is hit in Niagara-on-the-Lake, many Canadian juniors will travel to the U.S. Junior Open in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania (20 - 23 December 2025), then to the British Junior Open in Birmingham, England (2 - 6 January 2026). Squash Canada would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the Ontario Minister of Sport, Neil Lumsden, and the Ontario Government for their tremendous support through the Ontario Sport Hosting Program. We are also grateful to tournament directors, Matt Easingwood and Nicholas Sachvie, the dedicated teams at White Oaks and Ridley College, presenting sponsor Forthlane Partners, and all of Squash Canada’s national partners.
